About
Why Simply Still Magazine?
There came a point when I realized life had become louder, faster, and more complicated than I wanted it to be.
Like many people, I found myself constantly moving from one thing to the next. Always busy. Always trying to keep up. And somewhere in the middle of all of that, the simple, meaningful parts of life started getting pushed aside.
While I currently own and operate a flower farm and truly love the work... the physical intensity of it, combined with health issues, has made me really focus on how I want to live my life.
Over the years, I've worked in many industries, but writing and publishing have always been a genuine love of mine. I have published a couple of magazines in the past, so when the question of “what’s next?” began to take shape, creating a magazine like this felt like a natural fit.
Simply Still Magazine grew out of my desire for something calmer, more grounded, and more connected to what really matters. And I figured since I was feeling this way, maybe others are too.
Inside each issue, you’ll find thoughtful stories and articles, natural living inspiration, homestyle recipes, simple crafts, seasonal ideas, and gentle encouragement for everyday life.
It's not perfection.
It's not pressure.
It's not another voice telling you to do more.
And it's definitely not another magazine filled with advertising that screams at you.
It's just thoughtful and meaningful content created to help you slow down and enjoy the simple things in life.
Faith is a natural part of Simply Still, but it's not filled with heavy teachings or complicated conversations. It’s about living out faith in practical, everyday ways... in our homes, our routines, our relationships, and the quiet moments that often matter most.
My hope is that Simply Still Magazine becomes more than just something you read; it becomes something you look forward to each season.
Something you leave out on the table and come back to.
Something you share with friends.
Something that reminds you it’s okay to slow down a little.
Because doing more and rushing more doesn’t always create a better life. Sometimes the most meaningful things are found in slower days, simpler rhythms, and the moments we almost overlook.
Thank you for being here.
I’m so glad you found your way to Simply Still.
